I suppose I should really tell you a little bit about myself and how I got started in this editing game. Well, I’m 52 years old and live in Coventry with my elderly father, who suffers from mild Alzheimer’s.
I got into editing by accident because I needed something I could do from home while caring for my father. A good friend, Michelle Dunbar, got me started when she suggested I try it by helping her to edit a novel that has since been award nominated. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and a few months later Steve Frost Editing Services Ltd was born.
I’m now helping Anna Johnstone to get herself established.
While I have no formal qualifications in editing. I do hold a BA (Honours) in History, which I gained as mature student with the Open University. My editing skills, come from a good grounding in spelling and grammar, and lifetime’s love of literature.
